Light Your Way
A bed sheeted ghost offers illumination as you make your way through the night. Thank you to my friend Jermaine for being the Ghost!

Eerie Island.
I'm very happy with the lighting, and the atmosphere of these pictures. I've always been a big Gothic literature fan, and Autumnal/Spooky season advocate (just, something cathartic about a scary story in a forest of turning leaves?) and These pictures are the first pictures I've ever composed, Auteur-ish. Many more to come I pray.

Reflections on Sleepy Hollow.
Never saw the headless horseman but his surrogate head makes fantastic reflections, back-lit by the dying sun. Ichabod Crane, watch out.

The Creeping Vines and the Pumpkin Head.
The lit up Jack-O-Lantern nestles into the creeping vines, turned Magenta red by the cool nights of October. I like the tone of this picture.

Spooky lunar landscape.
A wider angle of the marsh Island, the moon suspended between the ghost and the old Tree, the milk weed and creeping vines lending atmosphere to the autumn climate. I've always loved that tree. I assumed it was some sort of Willow but I bet I'm wrong. Ill have to find out what species..

Creature from the Wetlands.
My good friend wears a vintage Halloween mask, creating an amazing color palate across the board, the ochres and greens, reds and oranges. Even the Marsh grass changes color in Autumn.

Stag in the Tide.
A Stag washed ashore during the night tangled in the Rock Jetty, mottled and distorted, its antlers still proud. It was a truly Bizarre scene. It must have fallen into the Merrimac River and washed out to sea. Circle of Life..

Fearfully Made.
A century and a half old church in the rolling hills of Ipswich, Massachusetts catches the umber light of the fading sun and reflects it from its golden cross. Might cause you to remember, that Christ isn't all flowery love and prose. We are Fearfully, and Wonderfully made.

Tangled in the sunbeam.
Poor bug victimized in broad daylight. I like the composition of this shot.
